Step by step instructions for enabling localhost on your mac using the apache and php that it comes with natively. We can find out default localhost folder location in Mac by looking into httpd.conf file. We can get apache configurations by running 'httpd -V' command. By default, XAMPP has no passwords set and it is not recommended to run XAMPP with this configuration as it is accessible to others.
Simply type the following command (as root) to start a simple security check:
